Pre Cut Architectural Models : A Minimalist Paper World

001

Id imagine these are good news for design office staff who pull off all-nighters but for me there is something quite stylish about these pre-cut architectural models from Japanese designers Terada-Mokei. In fact I’d like to keep them whole and display them as some unmade model jigsaw. I admire the detail in the different model sets, from the leaves on the ginkgo trees to the old piano in the elementary school. These urban paper scenes have been used for animation and the company also produces greetings cards and coasters too! Personally I’m all for orchestrating my own desk to bandstand or swimming gala!
